On an annual basis parents have the ability to opt out of our Media Release by submitting a form to the district. Any student who is opted out is logged in PowerSchool and this information then becomes available to teachers inside PowerTeacher. Below outlines the two areas of PowerTeacher that you can find this information.

Student Directory

The Student Directory shows all students in your building in alphabetical order, their email address, and their Media Opt Out Status. Any student who has been opted out will be indicated by No Photo. To access this information click on the Student Directory link in the left navigation. Please do not print this information.

Permissions Screen

The Permissions screen shows an individual students Media Opt Out status. Any student who has been opted out will be indicated by a marked checkbox. To access this information click on the Backpack icon across from the section you wish to work with. Next, set the screen to Permissions by choosing Permissions from the dropdown menu on the right-side of the screen. Click on each student's name to view the information. Please do not print this information.
