Student 1-1 devices are filtered via the Securly Internet Filter when they leave the district. This requires them to launch a web browser and sign-in with their Google credentials before doing any Internet-based activities, such as surfing the web, uses Internet-based apps (i.e. Schoology, Google Apps), or checking email.

To make sure you have a Securly session open, please be sure to do the following.

iPad Users

  1. Open Safari
  2. Goto a website, such as www.yahoo.com
  3. You should be redirected to the Securly login page (if not, see the Troubleshooting steps below)
  4. Sign in using your school Google credentials
  5. You are done and can now use your device for any Internet-based activity.

Mac Users

  1. Open a web browser
  2. Goto a website, such as www.yahoo.com
  3. You should be redirected to the Securly login page (if not, see the Troubleshooting steps below)
  4. Sign in using your school Google credentials
  5. You are done and can now use your device for any Internet-based activity.

Troubleshooting For iPad Users

If you are not being directed to the Securly login page, you may need to manually disconnected from the filter or clear your history.

 

  • To manually disconnected from the Securly filter, tap the "app" titled "Securely Signout". Once signed out, repeat the process above.
  • To clear your history, open your Settings App, then go to Safari, and lastly tap "Clear History and Website Data". Now go ahead and repeat the process above.
