Setting Up 2-Step Verification (MFA) for Google Drive

 

1. Click on your initial in the upper right corner and choose Manage your Google Account

 

2. Click on Security on the left.

3. Choose 2-step verification

 

 

4. Click get started.

 

5. Enter your password.

 

You will have a choice of method to enable your two-step verification. We recommend the phone number (text or phone call) or using the Microsoft Authenticator app that many of you already use for email.

Phone verification Method:

Enter your phone number and choose text message or phone call.

 

Enter the code texted to you.

 

Click turn on.

Authenticator app (can use MS Authenticator):

 

Click setup authenticator

Scan the QR code and click next

 

Enter the code from the authenticator app
