Schoology - Error when viewing Google Assignment

When trying to view a Google Assignment in Schoology, such as a Google Slide document you could receive the following error:

{"errors":{"detail":"Failed to retrieve provider email for current user","source":{"exception":"Exception"}}}

 

To fix this issue please follow the steps below...

 

  1. Logout of all Google Accounts on their devices 
  2. Clear the cache and delete cookies on the browser 
  3. Navigate to the assignment and copy and paste the following link in the browser;  


https://lti-submission-google.app.schoology.com/authorize/logout
